90% of golfers are playing with clubs that don't fit

Golf is tough enough, but with clubs that don't fit properly, you're making it more difficult than it should be.

Having clubs that fit you correctly is crucial to your performance.

Everyone has an optimal golf club fit that facilitates a biomechanically efficient motion resulting in a balanced and powerful swing from address to impact to follow-through.

Your optimum fit relies on two key factors that are unique for each player and based on your physical dimensions:
1. Height of the golf club off of the ground:  The distance from the ground to the top of the grip.
2. Ball spacing:  The distance from the ball to where your hands hang vertically at address.

While club design and quality are important, they are irrelevant if the club length and lie angle (size) does not fit you correctly.  Poorly fit clubs reinforce swing flaws and lead to the formation of bad habits. Clubs with your correct length and lie angle (size) facilitate a biomechanically efficient swing motion, resulting in a tighter dispersion pattern and consistent contact.

Trial-and-Error Based "Custom Fitting" of Length and Lie Angle

Most players have been “custom fit” using swing-based methods. Players are put on a lie board or a launch monitor and make a series of swings. Most golfers’ swing motions possess flaws and are inconsistent; fitting a player in this manner handicaps them, as the flaws present that day are incorporated into the fit. Fitters employ this trial-and-error process, continuously switching or adjusting the club until something accidentally works better. This limits the player’s ability to improve as the fit only works when the flaws are present.

AVIAN Golf's Dimensional Fitting Technology

Through 45 years of research and analysis, we have developed a revolutionary process that doesn’t involve the need to see any swings to determine a golfer’s optimal length and lie angle.

Avian Golf’s Dimensional fitting algorithm factors your physical measurements proportionally as well as dynamically.

  • Our process begins with your physical measurements.

  • Measurements are entered into our proprietary algorithm which factors for proportional change, this allows the golfer to get into an optimum balanced setup position.

  • The algorithm calculates the dynamic forces that occur as a result of the swing motion. Dynamic changes that happen to the body and the club through motion are calculated and incorporated into your fitting solution.

This is a scientifically proven way to fit that is based on actual measurements. This method creates an environment of sustainable improvement facilitating a biomechanically efficient swing motion. Experience the difference!

Swing-Based Fitting Methods

  • Fit must be completed in personal

  • Results are subjective - trial and error based

  • Flaws in the swing effect the fit. The fit only functions "properly" when said flaws are present

  • Inconsistency in swing motion, which swing do you choose?

  • Handicaps golfers into the current flaws their motions possess

  • Improvement is difficult

  • New golfers cannot be fitted effectively using this method

Our Dimensional Fitting Method

  • Anyone, anywhere can be fitted correctly

  • Results are objective - fact based

  • Fit is based on your unique physical dimensions

  • Fit calculates for proportional change (standing to address)

  • Fit calculates for dynamic forces generated by the swing motion (address to impact)

  • Fit allows for proper swing motion

  • Fit facilitates sustainable improvement

  • New golfers can be fitted effectively as a swing is not required

Benefits of Dimensional Fitting

  • Optimal fit = optimal performance

  • Increased distance

  • Tighter dispersion pattern

  • Consistent contact

  • Better balance

  • Improved rotational efficiency

  • Facilitates sustainable improvement

  • Lower scores
